My version of a traditional South American dish , that is super healthy and so simple to make.
This recipe Serves 2.
100 grams sashimi grade salmon
100 grams sashimi grade tuna
1 lemon
1 clove garlic
2 Tbs Olive oil
Lots of Salad – I use green leaves, cherry tomato, avocado, cucumber, yellow capsicum, diced carrot, fresh snow peas, shallot ( spring onion)
Dice the fish into 1-2 cmd cubes and place in a glass bowl. Squeeze the lemon juice over the top, mix around and then let sit. Meanwhile – slice the garlic and place in a small fry pan with the Olive Oil, and cook for a few minutes, you’ll need to keep an eye on it, as the garlic will brown very quickly – remove it from the heat and allow to cool. Be careful not to burn the garlic ! Prepare the salad items, then mix everything together into the glass bowl containing the fish, (keep the lemon juice in there too – it with the Olive Oil makes the dressing). Season with salt and pepper, and serve.
