A healthy gut is the corner stone for good health.
Probiotic foods, also known as lacto-fermented or cultured foods are part of most traditional food cultures.
The process of fermenting foods is a way of not only preserving the food, but increasing its vitamin content and beneficial bacteria that helps to maintain a healthy gut environment that is essential for strong immune function.
This workshop will teach you the history and benefits of these amazing and very important foods, and show you how to incorporate them into your daily diet.
We will cover a variety of lacto fermented foods including sauerkraut, kefir and kombucha.
